To best support those preparing to enter the workforce, find their next job, or discover another one, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity has cultivated a new Return-to-Work Playbook.
Housed at Michigan.gov/SkillsToWork, this digital tool outlines available career and job-readiness resources, including step-by-step instructions for developing resumes, preparing for interviews, exploring new career paths, and finding free or inexpensive job training opportunities.
As partners of LEO’s Office of Employment and Training, we wanted to share the Playbook with you as you also prepare to support those in need both during and post-pandemic. These resources were gathered from Michigan Works! Agencies, external entities and within LEO directly to best help Michiganders return to work, explore in-demand careers, or learn new skills.
The Playbook also provides industry or occupational-specific resources, as well as those to assist specific individuals; including veterans, individuals with disabilities, migrant and seasonal farm workers and adult learners.
